RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking a teacher for instruction in Swedish as a second language, Swedish, and Religion. You will teach on introductory programs, vocational programs, and higher education preparatory programs. In this role, you will work closely with colleagues in your own team, alongside other teachers and school staff. We have a well-developed collaboration between the school's different professions, ensuring you receive good support in various aspects of your work. The position includes mentorship, which involves responsibility for conducting development talks and continuously monitoring the student's social and academic development. Responsibility for common tasks within the profession is included in the role.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are educated and certified as a high school teacher with eligibility to teach Swedish as a second language combined with Swedish or English. In the second instance, we are looking for you who are eligible in Swedish as a second language or Swedish combined with another subject. You have knowledge of the most common computer programs and digital tools.

ABOUT THE WORKPLACE

Holavedsgymnasiet is a school with approximately 800 students and a wide range of both vocational and higher education preparatory programs. The school also includes introductory programs and an adapted high school. Holavedsgymnasiet is located in central Tranås, which means proximity to various activities and good commuting opportunities. The work climate is open, and we work to ensure that every student develops and is equipped for the future. We work systematically to give you, as a new teacher, a good start and introduction to working at the school.
