RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking a teacher for instruction in Swedish as a second language, Swedish, and Religion. You will teach at introductory programs, vocational programs, and higher education preparatory programs. In this role, you will work closely with colleagues in your own teaching team, including other teachers and school staff. We have a well-developed collaboration between the school's various professions, which means you will receive good support in different parts of the work. The position includes mentorship, which involves, among other things, responsibility for conducting development conferences and continuously monitoring the student's social and academic development. Responsibility for common tasks in the profession is included in the assignment.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are educated and certified as a high school teacher with the eligibility to teach Swedish as a second language in combination with Swedish or English. As a secondary option, we are looking for you who are eligible in Swedish as a second language or Swedish in combination with another subject. You have knowledge of the most common computer programs and digital tools.

ABOUT THE WORKPLACE

Holavedsgymnasiet is a school with approximately 800 students and a wide range of both vocational and higher education preparatory programs. The school also includes introductory programs and an adapted high school. Holavedsgymnasiet is located in central Tranås, which means proximity to various activities and good commuting opportunities. The work climate is open, and we work to ensure that every student develops and is equipped for the future. We work systematically to give you, as a new teacher, a good start and introduction to working at the school.
