About the role of Personal Assistant

As a personal assistant, you work closely with a person with a disability in their daily life. You assist and support the individual both in their everyday routine and during leisure time. Your workplace is wherever the customer is, and your main responsibility is to assist the customer so that they have the conditions to live the life they desire.

Responsibilities

Your tasks depend on the customer's needs and lifestyle. These can range from personal hygiene and assistance with mobility, to household chores, cooking, as well as assisting the customer at work or during activities outside the home.

We are looking for you who

We are looking for someone who is responsible, empathetic, and quick to learn new tasks. At Särnmark, you will always receive an introduction at the customer's home, as well as access to training regarding the role of a personal assistant.

About the employment

The form of employment is fixed-term for as long as the assistance assignment lasts, and the wage form is hourly pay. Working hours vary depending on the customer's needs: days, evenings, nights (including on-call), weekdays, and weekends. There is an opportunity to work 24-hour shifts. Immediate start.

Salary and other terms of employment are according to the collective agreement for Personal Assistance, Vårdföretagarna – Kommunal.
