In the role, you will work together with us according to our vision – Everyone has the right to a good life.
About the role
As a therapist, you will work closely with children and their parents, safeguarding a safe and structured environment where relationships, development, and hope for the future are at the center. You will be an important part of creating change, strengthening parental skills, and giving children the best conditions for the future.
You meet families in vulnerable situations and work both practically and therapeutically with support, guidance, and structure in everyday life. The work requires presence, clarity, and genuine engagement – but also offers the opportunity to see real development and long-term results. The role requires the ability to work independently, drive your own processes, and manage your own cases to some extent.
We are looking for someone who is secure, calm, relationship-building with good handling skills that can balance warmth with clear boundaries. You are a person who is structured, engaged, and responsible. You thrive in a team where collaboration, reflection, and professional development are a natural part of the work. You have a good ability to work flexibly – as one day is rarely like the next.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Planning and structuring interventions
- Care in the form of direct therapeutic work
- Participation in investigation work
- Documentation according to BBIC
- Motivational work and daily support for adults and children
- Work according to care plans and implementation plans
- Contact person – a link between clients, staff, social services, school, network.
The position is a permanent employment at 95%. The work takes place during the day, evening, night, and weekends. Salary is negotiated and other benefits are according to the collective agreement. Start date is by agreement.
Requirements for the position:
- You are educated as a social worker, social pedagogue, treatment pedagogue, or have another completed post-secondary education that the employer deems equivalent.
- Have at least 2 years of experience in change work
- Good ability to handle adults and children
- Have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
- Have good system familiarity as documentation occurs to a large extent and the ability to document descriptively
- Have a B driver's license
- Have a good ability to work independently and with low affectivity
It is meritorious for the position if you have competence or experience in any of the following:
MI, Connect, Sign of Safety, BBIC, CBT, FFT, iriSk, AP, parental support, conflict management, domestic violence, neuropsychiatric diagnoses, Patriark, Sarah, addiction and substance abuse, KASAM, Komet, safety circle.
