The Education Administration is one of Mjölby Municipality's six departments, responsible for preschool, primary school, upper secondary school, adapted primary and upper secondary schools, and adult education. With approximately 1,000 employees, we offer education that promotes lifelong learning for all children and students, working towards the goal of "high knowledge results in a school where everyone can and wants to be." We place great emphasis on working closely with operations through regular dialogue and support for school leaders and teachers based on the chain of command.

Blåklintskolan is a grades F-6 school centrally located in Mjölby, close to the library, swimming hall, and green areas. Approximately 485 students and 65 employees meet daily at Blåklintskolan.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a student assistant, you work together with teaching teachers both in school and during leisure time activities. You serve as a support throughout the school day by creating safety, structure, and good conditions for learning, and by supporting their social development based on the students' individual needs.

The role of student assistant involves being a support and resource for both individual students and student groups. You participate actively in operations and contribute to a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment. The role requires a good ability to build relationships, meet students with different needs, and be a positive adult role model in their daily lives.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have a high school education within the Child and Youth Care program or equivalent education relevant to the assignment. Merit if you have knowledge and experience of working with low-affective handling (calm and supportive interaction).

You have the ability to work with other people; to listen, show empathy, and respect. You are unpretentious and recognize and reward the contributions of others.

You have the ability to follow instructions, procedures, statutory requirements, and policies, as well as adhere to set timelines.

You have the ability to adapt to changed conditions.

You encourage and support change initiatives. You easily adapt your behavior in relation to other people's needs.
