We are now looking for a Research Assistant to conduct complementary experiments on temporal interpolation of video, where a synchronized data stream from an event camera is available to improve the results.

About the Job

The work involves conducting complementary experiments on the camera rig developed during the spring, with the goal of writing a scientific article.

About You

We are looking for a dedicated researcher specialized in computer vision and learning systems, with previous experience of event cameras. Experience with temporal upsampling supported by event camera data is a plus.

The following education, experience, and expertise are required:

• A master's degree or equivalent competence, with a specialization in computer vision. Students writing their master's thesis and who are nearly finished with their master's studies are also qualified candidates.

In addition, the following education, experience, and expertise will strengthen an application:

• Experience in experimental design, programming, and machine learning for computer vision.

Your Workplace

You will work at the Division of Computer Vision and Learning Systems (CVL) at ISY, which has a dynamic research environment with a total of approximately 40 employees. CVL conducts research and education at the undergraduate, advanced, and doctoral levels in machine learning for computer vision.

About the Employment

The employment is a monthly contract for full-time work for 3 months.

Start date by agreement, but no earlier than June 29 and no later than August 3, 2026.
