About the Operation
The primary school/adapted primary school operation is part of the Education Administration. The operation covers 21 primary schools as well as an adapted primary school, with a total of approximately 4,500 students. Four of the primary schools are upper secondary schools, while the others, with a few exceptions, cover grades F-6. The operation also includes after-school centers.
The adapted primary school unit (grades 1-9) is located at Mariebergsskolan. The school has a focus on subject areas and specific subjects. There is also an after-school center for the school's students in grades 1-6. The vision of the adapted primary school is to be a modern, open, proud, and innovative meeting place for sustainable development in learning, health, and democracy with a view to the future. Everyone should feel confident in their own abilities and contribute to a work environment characterized by joy, engagement, and hope for the future. Our students are the operation's greatest driving force, as their development stimulates us to constantly seek the best and most effective teaching methods for each individual.
About the Position

Responsibilities
You teach wood and metal crafts to students in the subject tracks. Your planning is based on the students' needs, and you adapt the lessons to the students' different prerequisites. You plan and document the students' development and learning based on the school's steering documents.
You collaborate with all staff regarding the students to support their knowledge development. You also teach other subject(s) for students who are studying towards the subjects. The position also includes mentorship.
Qualifications
Formal Competencies:
- Trained Wood and Metal Crafts Teacher
- Teaching License (Lärarlegitimation)
Personal Competencies:
- Works well with other people. Relates to them in a listening and flexible manner. You can adapt and find solutions through a goal-oriented focus on the common objective without hierarchy.
- You have a good understanding of how humans acquire knowledge and of people's different prerequisites. You adapt your way of conveying your message to the recipient.
- You take active initiative in social contexts, step forward, and have an easy time creating and maintaining new relationships.
Great importance is attached to personal suitability.
Employment Details
Employment Type: Fixed-term employment.
Working Hours: Holiday substitute (Ferietjänst)
