About the workplace

Kungsängsgymnasiet is a modern upper secondary school with approximately 480 students. We offer eight national programs as well as the Introductory Program. Our goal is for every student to succeed, and for three years, we have received support from the Swedish National Agency for Education's initiative "Collaboration for the Best School".

Students feel safe and enjoy being at the school, which is reflected in our safety surveys. We have a high proportion of qualified teachers. At our school, it is important that both students and staff are seen and that students receive the support they need. Job Responsibilities

As a teacher with us, you will teach the core subjects of the Economics Programme. You will become part of an engaged team and collaborate closely with colleagues within the program and subject groups. The position also includes mentorship.

We are looking for you who

• Have pedagogical experience and can teach in economics and law subjects.
• Have good collaboration skills with students, colleagues, and other staff.
• Have clear leadership skills and a strong belief in students' ability to achieve good academic results.
• Are a collegial team player interested in school development and working in teams.
• Are flexible, creative, and use ICT in teaching.
• Want to develop your teaching profession and contribute ideas on how teaching and the school can be improved.
• Personal suitability is given great weight.

Qualifications

• Licensure as an upper secondary school teacher in economics and law.
• Experience teaching at the upper secondary level.

Terms of Employment

Individual salary setting

Start date: August 10, 2026, or as agreed.

Requirement for a police certificate upon job offer. This is according to the Act on Register Control in School, Leisure, and Preschool Activities. The Swedish Police Authority's criminal record register, RPS 442.5 (14-01-14).
