Communicator with Strength in Content Production

Are you a skilled writer who enjoys making complex information clear, relevant, and engaging? Do you thrive switching between strategic thinking and practical communication work? Then this might be the role for you.

One of our current communicators will focus on the development of the municipality's website during the coming year. Therefore, we are now looking for a communicator with particular strength in content production.

You will become part of a team with broad competence in communication, destination development, public guidance, budget and debt counseling, as well as consumer counseling. Together, we are 19 employees distributed across the units of communication, contact center, and Consumer Höglandet.

We support the municipality's operations in their communication work, develop and manage the municipality's communication channels, and contribute to strengthening trust in Nässjö Municipality as an organization and place.

Responsibilities

The work involves both strategic and operational tasks, with a focus on planning and creating content for the web, social media, and media outlets. To succeed in the role, you need to be a skilled writer with a good sense of language, tone, and target audiences. The role also includes acting as a communication support to the urban planning office and contributing to the development of their communication.

About You

We are looking for someone with strong communication skills who enjoys driving their work forward. You are up-to-date with new communication trends, have an interest in digital communication, and thrive in a role where you take responsibility for the entire communication process, from idea and message to finished content. You have a structured working method and find it easy to collaborate with different operations and professional roles.

Qualifications and Merits

To be considered for the position, you need a university degree in communication or equivalent. Web, social media, and Adobe CC are natural tools in your work. Experience with media, project management, and motion media is meritorious. Experience working in municipal operations and the public sector is also considered a plus. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
