The Role of Healthcare Administrator

As a Healthcare Administrator, you will work with referral handling, appointment booking, image management in our media unit, and other administrative tasks. You will also handle medical documentation, which at radiology involves writing radiology reports and managing watchlists and waiting time lists. You will also take meeting minutes. You will collaborate closely with other healthcare administrators, doctors, and other professional groups within radiology.

The position is a permanent full-time employment with start date as agreed. Working hours are during daytime on weekdays.

Radiology is a county-wide 24/7 clinic with approximately 380 employees located at the county's three hospitals: Ryhov County Hospital in Jönköping, Höglandssjukhuset in Eksjö, and Värnamo Hospital. Approximately 180 people work at the Radiology department at Ryhov County Hospital.

Radiology provides modern, high-tech diagnostics and offers a broad and advanced range of examinations. We perform vascular interventions, skeletal and lung X-rays, CT scans, mammography, ultrasound, PET-CT, and MRI. Nuclear medicine is also available at the Radiology department at Ryhov County Hospital.
