The Role of Healthcare Administrator/Administrative Assistant

In your role as a Healthcare Administrator or Administrative Assistant, you will handle ongoing healthcare administrative tasks, maintain patient contact via TeleQ and 1177, and be responsible for booking and calling in patients. You will serve as an administrative support to our staff and managers, with the opportunity to deepen your knowledge and act as the clinic's specialist competence in various administrative processes.

Note: Our healthcare staff at the Rehabilitation Centre use speech recognition, which means we do not offer dictation services.

We actively work on improvement and development within all rehabilitation and administrative processes. Currently, we are transitioning our operations to become more digital to provide our citizens with faster and easier access to our services. Healthcare administrators and administrative assistants play a key role in this work, both by possessing digitalization competence, developing new ways of working, and training our other employees.

Your Future Workplace

The Rehabilitation Centre is a county clinic with several different rehabilitation professions and administrative staff. We are located at all three hospitals in Region Jönköping County. We work within both outpatient and inpatient care and have a broad rehabilitation mandate.

The administrative unit consists of a total of approximately 20 employees distributed across the three different hospitals. We have close collaboration within the administrative teams, both in daily tasks and in improvement and development work.

Your Profile

We are looking for a medical healthcare administrator/administrative assistant who enjoys challenges and thinking outside the box. We assume that you are a good communicator in both speech and writing, have good IT skills, and a genuine interest in healthcare and business administration. You are meticulous and structured, and thrive working both independently and in a team. You have the ability to see connections and flows, which allows you to quickly understand and take responsibility for the whole picture.

Team collaboration is an important part of our way of working, so collaboration and a good attitude are just as natural for you as they are for us. You contribute and share your knowledge and experiences with your colleagues.

You have a healthcare administrative or other administrative education in your background. If you have previous experience in improvement work, knowledge of the Cosmic journal system, and speak and write another language, it is an advantage. We would prefer that you have education or experience in digitalization. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

You will be part of a team consisting of healthcare administrators and administrative assistants with high competence and long experience. The position is a permanent full-time employment with start date as agreed. Our working hours are scheduled during daytime, Monday to Friday.
