Your new job

As a Business Strategist in the Finance Department, you work with qualified management and follow-up of finance and operations from a municipality-wide perspective. You become an important part of the development of the municipality's management and have the opportunity to influence working methods, processes, and decision support at a high level.

In the role, you will among other things:

• participate in the administration and further development of the municipality's management model
• act as the system administrator for the management system Stratsys and ensure that the system supports the municipality's management in the best possible way
• conduct qualified analyses and assessments
• participate in the municipality's budget process
• participate in the municipality's monthly follow-up through analyses of finance, operations, and results
• lead or participate in investigation and development work
• provide qualified support to managers, departments, and elected officials in matters concerning management and operational development.

Your qualifications

We are looking for you who have a university education with a focus on economics or other education and experience that the employer considers equivalent. You have experience working with management systems as well as financial and operational management. You also have experience in project, development, or change work.

You master Swedish well, both in speech and writing.

Meritorious

It is also meritorious if you have experience working within a municipality or other politically governed operations. It is meritorious if you have experience working with system administration and Stratsys.

The Finance Department is part of the central administration, City Office, in Jönköping Municipality. You will be part of the team led by the municipality's budget manager. The Budget and Management Unit has the overarching task of monitoring, analyzing, and forecasting Jönköping Municipality's economy. Our physical workplace is located in the City Hall in central Jönköping.

We can offer you a developing job in a work community characterized by good cooperation and a positive attitude. You will work in close collaboration with colleagues in the department, as well as people in other departments, and we help each other to achieve our common goal.
