E-Health Section, Regional Executive Office, Region Jönköping County

We are now looking for you who want to influence the further development of Cosmic into a good healthcare information system that ensures good healthcare documentation, simple and efficient working methods.

The Role of E-Health Developer

Together with other e-health developers and e-health strategists, you work with the maintenance and development of various digital healthcare information systems for healthcare and citizens. You will be part of Team 3, which has main responsibility for Cosmic's overarching functions, Resource Planning, Referrals, BoS, input and output data, healthcare administration, and Messenger. The work involves maintaining existing modules in Cosmic, implementing new features, as well as developing new digital systems to facilitate the work for healthcare personnel.

A large part of the role involves working with output data, i.e., producing, processing, and quality-assuring information and statistics from Cosmic, Insight, and Diver to meet the needs of operations. This may involve producing reports and analyses for operations, management, and other decision-makers, defining requirements for new reports, and supporting users in questions related to data and follow-up.

The role also includes tasks such as:

• Development, maintenance, and support of modules in Cosmic, including Insight.
• Updating and creating new manuals and routine descriptions for users.
• Producing information and training materials, conducting information and training sessions.
• Investigating and finalizing various types of decision support materials.
• Conducting and approving tests of new functionality prior to upgrades and the introduction of new modules.
• Acting as the section's resource in various decided projects regarding new modules and functions.
• Leading or participating in assignments regarding modules and functions.

We will further describe the content of the work together with you if you are offered the position, based on your experience, knowledge, and area of interest. Start date is by agreement. The position is a permanent full-time employment.

The E-Health Section works with operation-oriented development and maintenance of healthcare information systems such as Cosmic, Citizen Services on 1177.se, and certain region-wide IT support in healthcare. We are today 30 engaged employees distributed in four teams, two Development Leaders, and three e-health strategists. The work is focused on creating conditions for good and secure healthcare information management towards three target groups; healthcare personnel, citizens, and decision-makers. The section is part of the Department of Public Health and Healthcare at the Regional Executive Office, whose main task is to provide direction and support to the region's healthcare. We collaborate closely with IT Centre's technical maintenance groups for Cosmic and eHealth, where we investigate the operation's needs and create materials that IT Centre then implements and configures in the systems.

Your Profile

We see that you have a relevant education within healthcare and have worked in healthcare for a few years. You are or have been a user of the medical record system Cosmic, and have experience in leading or participating in change and/or investigation work in some form. Meritorious is work with reports, follow-up, or analysis, which requires good knowledge of the Office package, primarily Excel.

You are a person who thrives in a varied and flexible work environment where you take own responsibility and own initiatives and make correct assessments and prioritizations. You need to be driven by developing tasks together in a team but also be secure in independent work. To thrive in the work, you also need to have a good ability to structure your work in an efficient way, have problem-solving analytical skills, and a holistic view. The work requires good Swedish in speech and writing. We place great importance on personal suitability. A B-driver's license is required as travel to operations is included in the position.
