Do you have experience as a Business Controller in the manufacturing industry and thrive in a business-close role? We are now looking for you who want to take on a consulting assignment with an established industrial company in the Småland Highlands, starting in early September and continuing until the turn of the year. The assignment involves working approximately three days per week.

In this role, you will work closely with the company's CFO and support the business with analyses, follow-ups, and financial management.

About the Role

As a Business Controller, you act as a business-close partner to the CFO and the operations. You not only analyze results but also drive follow-ups, challenge the operations, and contribute to improvements. The role is business-close and involves a strong focus on analysis, follow-ups, and product costing. You will monitor results, analyze production and inventory flows, and prepare decision-support materials that contribute to the continued development of the business.

A key part of the assignment is to create an understanding of how financial transactions impact the business and to translate that knowledge into relevant analyses and reports. You will also work with reporting and data visualization, where experience with Power BI is an advantage. The role involves close collaboration with various parts of the organization and suits you if you enjoy combining an analytical approach with a business-close perspective.

The focus of the assignment is to ensure a well-functioning controller function and contribute stability and continuity during the period.

We would like you to have:

• Several years of experience as a Business Controller or Operations Controller.
• Experience from the manufacturing industry.
• Experience with product costing and a good understanding of the connection between costing, accounting, and business outcomes.
• A good understanding of accounting and financial transactions.
• Experience with Power BI is an advantage.
