The role of Recruitment Specialist

The Competence Supply Unit consists of 16 dedicated employees: 15 recruitment specialists and one administrative coordinator. We specialize in competence supply, recruitment, brand building, and search. As a recruitment specialist, you will work closely with HR partners and hiring managers across various units within Jönköping County. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Support, coach, and train managers in competence-based recruitment.
  • Conduct needs analyses and requirement profiles, write job ads, and conduct tests, work samples, and interviews.
  • Be responsible for and develop processes and methods to attract and recruit employees to the county's various operations.
  • Search for candidates in various channels – and explore new ways to find the right competence.
  • Develop, plan, and implement various projects in the areas of attraction and recruitment, such as target group surveys and the development of the recruitment process and candidate experience.

We offer you a permanent full-time position with a start date as soon as possible or as agreed. Probationary employment may apply.

There is an opportunity to base your work from Jönköping, Eksjö, or Värnamo.

The Competence Supply Unit is part of the central HR department at the County Administrative Board.

  • We create projects for interventions during the year that are prioritized, predictable, recurring, and lead towards the operation's need for competence.
  • We develop systems and guidelines for recruitment and competence supply in the areas of attraction and recruitment.

Your profile

You have education in HR, administration, behavioral science, or similar. We consider it desirable that you also have experience with:

  • Recruitment and personnel assessment.
  • Working closely with customers and hiring managers to ensure high quality throughout the entire recruitment process.
  • Previous work with employer branding issues and communication.

Travel within the county is common, and therefore a B-driving license is a requirement. Since communication of various kinds is an important part of the assignment, we expect you to master the Swedish language fluently in both speech and writing.

You have strong communication skills and feel confident in coaching managers, writing attractive job ads, and establishing contact with relevant candidates.

Our recruitment process

The last day for applications is 2026-08-11.

In a first step, we conduct digital interviews, which are scheduled for the afternoon of 18/8 and the morning of 21/8.

After an initial selection, current candidates are invited to on-site interviews. These are scheduled for the afternoon of 24/8 and the morning of 27/8.
