Summer job in elderly care – Make a difference!

Do you want a meaningful summer job where you make a difference every day? We are looking for dedicated summer workers who want to work in care and support for the elderly – either in a specialized housing facility or within home care services. Here, it is about spreading joy and security, while gaining invaluable experience that you will carry with you for life.

What does the job involve?

In elderly care, you help individuals who need support in their daily lives. You contribute to a secure, active, and meaningful existence for those we support. Your tasks may include assistance with care, meals, or accompanying individuals to activities. You will also perform health and medical tasks according to instructions and delegation. We document in the digital journal system Lifecare. You can work with the elderly in a housing facility or in their own homes.

Who are we looking for?

We are primarily looking for you who are trained as an assistant nurse (undersköterska) or care assistant (vårdbiträde). We also welcome those who have previously worked with us or are simply curious to try out work in the care sector.

To provide our care recipients with a good and meaningful daily life, we are looking for someone who has:

• A good attitude and a positive view of people.
• Curiosity, care, and a desire to make a difference.
• A B-driver's license (if you wish to work in home care services).

Experience from similar work is an advantage, but the most important thing is that you are engaged and want to help create a meaningful daily life for others.

Information

We are looking for summer workers for the period weeks 25–33, and we would prefer that you can work the entire holiday period. Shifts may be scheduled during the day, evening, night, or weekends. Please state in your application which weeks you are available.
