Are you a psychiatric nurse/registered nurse and would you like to join us at Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (BUP) Skaraborg?

Welcome to a dedicated team at Child and Adolescent Psychiatry within Skaraborg Hospital. We are now strengthening our team with two nurses for our outpatient clinic in Skövde, who wish to be part of the team working for BUP Skaraborg as a whole.

The Department

BUP Skaraborg is responsible for specialized psychiatric care for children and adolescents, including our outpatient clinics in Mariestad and Skövde, as well as BUP emergency responsibilities. We meet children and adolescents aged 0–18 years and their families.

Here, a multidisciplinary team consisting of psychologists, social workers, psychotherapists, nurses, doctors, occupational therapists, speech therapists, dietitians, assistant nurses, and administrative staff works together, focusing on providing our patients with the best possible care. We have an open climate, high competence, and a strong focus on both the patient's and the employee's well-being.

Job Responsibilities

Our nurses work with medication follow-up, assessment, counseling, psychoeducation, collaboration, and group activities. The extent of patient contact varies, and some of our nurses work primarily with counseling via telephone and 1177. There is an opportunity to shape our new roles according to interest and competence.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse with a specialist education in psychiatry or another specialist education that the employer deems relevant. You enjoy working with children, adolescents, their guardians, and networks. You should have good organizational and prioritization skills. We want you to enjoy working in a team, but at the same time feel confident working independently.

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

Other

Since the work sometimes takes place outside the clinic, a category B driver's license is desirable.

For appointments within psychiatry, we require an extract from the suspicion and criminal record register. This request is handled by the employer.
