Do you want to make a difference in people's daily lives? We are now looking for an experienced nurse to run the unit's diabetes clinic at our health center in Sköndal. Here, you will have the opportunity to work with varied tasks in an stimulating and developing work environment where teamwork and high quality are in focus. The health center is located in the center of Sköndal, and parking is available if you do not travel by public transport.

Responsibilities:

As a diabetes nurse, you will:

• Work with running the unit's diabetes clinic.
• Provide telephone advice.
• Work in the medical record system Take Care.
• Prescribe free-of-charge consumables as well as medication.
• Participate in improving patient flows and collaborate with other professional groups to ensure the best possible care.
• Work closely with both patients and their relatives to create long-term and sustainable care relationships.
• Participate in quality work and development projects to improve the health center's methods and results.

There is also an opportunity to work with the clinic's coordination tasks with daily staffing planning.

The position is a permanent full-time employment with a 6-month probation period.

We are looking for you who:

• Are a registered nurse or district nurse with further education in diabetes, preferably with a few years of experience.
• Have experience working in primary care.
• Have good cooperation skills and are used to working in teams.
• Have a structured way of working and are confident in making decisions.
• Are flexible and have the ability to handle several tasks simultaneously.
