Description

Psychiatry Services is one of the few operations in the country to have both child and adolescent psychiatry (CAP) and adult psychiatry under a single operational manager. This facilitates and enables rapid information transfer, promotes collaboration, and increases the possibility of short decision-making paths. We have a long tradition of collaboration with the municipalities in which we operate. Within Psychiatry Services, we have three CAP clinics, one of which is located at Kungälv Hospital. In Stenungsund, we receive children and adolescents from the municipalities of Stenungsund and Tjörn.

Within CAP, an annual working hour system is applied, which means the possibility of flexible working hours throughout the work year. We offer good opportunities for competence development, continuous supervision, and the possibility of specialization.

The team consists of physicians, nurses, psychologists, social workers, psychotherapists, occupational therapists, and medical secretaries. We also have access to speech therapy resources within the operation. The operation is characterized by high competence and a high degree of collaboration, and is conducted from a cross-professional perspective.

At our clinic, doors are open, both for collegial support and for sharing laughs. We have common coffee breaks and enjoy having fun together. Stenungsund offers pleasant outdoor lunches by the pier and the opportunity to swim in the sea year-round. The clinic is located in central Stenungsund, close to the train and bus stations, for example to and from Gothenburg and Uddevalla.

Responsibilities

Assessment, investigation, and treatment work with children, adolescents, and their families. The work is carried out in a team but also independently. The work also involves collaborating with other agencies surrounding the children and families.

Qualifications

Authorized Psychologist. We are looking for you who have previous experience working with children and adolescents, preferably with neuropsychiatric conditions and patients with self-harm. We value qualities such as humor, forward-thinking attitude, and the ability to think positively and solution-oriented. Experience in leading groups is a plus.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability, good collaboration skills, and the ability to work independently. For us, it is crucial that you share our desire to make a real difference for the people we meet.

Conditions

The position is a maternity leave substitute for the period 2026-08-17 to 2027-08-16.
