Are you a nurse interested in surgery, patient safety, and development? Then this might be the job for you!

Department 350 is a surgical upper gastrointestinal department handling both emergency and planned surgery. Our emergency patients primarily have benign surgical diseases of the gallbladder/bile ducts, pancreas, or stomach. Our elective patients are cared for in a specific group where, as a nurse, you work with high patient turnover. We also have patients treated with minimally invasive surgery and patients with colorectal conditions. We work in a person-centered manner and as a team of nurses, assistant nurses, and doctors.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse, preferably with experience from surgery and/or emergency care, but this is not a requirement.

You thrive in team settings, are flexible, and confident in yourself. You have the ability to handle complex situations and possess good communication skills. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.

If you are a newly graduated nurse, you will participate in the Clinical Foundation Year, which is our introduction program. The Clinical Foundation Year is mandatory and lasts during the first year of your employment with us. It includes lectures, nursing guidance, and practical training of your profession at the Simulation Center. Additionally, it includes working on at least two different departments to broaden your competence.

In the event of recruiting nurses/doctors with foreign qualifications/specialist certificates, the relevant position will be preceded by a process to meet the requirements for Swedish qualification/specialist certificate.
