JOB DESCRIPTION
School Psychologist – Help create hope for the future for children and young people!
As a school psychologist with us, you will have the opportunity to work both preventively and promotively, close to students, schools, and engaged colleagues. You will become an important part of the Student Health Services and contribute to creating the best possible conditions for the development, learning, and mental health of children and young people.

You will work to ensure that all children and students have the opportunity to succeed in school and feel well during their school years. You contribute psychological competence to the Student Health Services work and are an important partner to school leadership, educators, and other professions within the Student Health Services. The work is both consultative and development-oriented, with a focus on strengthening the schools' ability to meet students' needs. Through psychological perspectives, you contribute to developing learning environments that promote both learning and mental health.
The duties include, among other things:
- Psychological assessments and investigations.
- Consultation and supervision for school staff.
- Participation in the preventive and promotional work of the Student Health Services.
- Competence-building initiatives for staff groups.
- Contributing to school development based on psychological knowledge.
- Documentation in the Student Health Services' journal system.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who are a licensed psychologist with Swedish licensure and who want to contribute to creating a school where all students are given the opportunity to develop based on their prerequisites.
We believe that you:
- have a genuine commitment to the development and mental health of children and young people,
- can translate psychological knowledge into practical and useful interventions,
- enjoy working both independently and in close collaboration with other professions,
- are confident in your professional role and have an easy time building trusting relationships,
- appreciate supervising, educating, and supporting others,
- work systematically and have good skills in planning and prioritizing.
Experience of working in schools or other activities directed towards children and young people is meritorious, as is experience of supervision and consultation. You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. We also place great importance on personal suitability.
