The Workplace

The Social Services Administration in Karlsborg is responsible for elderly care, care for people with disabilities, municipal healthcare, and individual and family care. The administration has approximately 250 employees.

Job Responsibilities

As an assistant nurse with us, you work closely with the elderly, focusing on strengthening their independence and well-being. You provide support in daily life, including personal care, service tasks, and social care, always adapted to each individual's needs and wishes. You create security and provide high-quality care, and also perform delegated healthcare tasks, such as training exercises, medication management, and wound dressings.

The work also involves receiving both oral and written information, as well as documenting in our business system, Viva. At our unit, respectful treatment and the individual's right to self-determination are a natural part of everyday life.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are trained as an assistant nurse or are training to become one, and who have a genuine commitment to elderly care. Experience in similar work is an advantage. You treat people with warmth, respect, and integrity, and adapt your working style easily to the elderly person's needs and daily condition.

To succeed in the role, you need to be responsible, proactive, and have good collaboration skills. You are professional in your interactions, while showing sensitivity and a desire to contribute to a meaningful and secure everyday life for our residents.
