Do you want to help bring child and adolescent psychiatry into the future? Within the Psychiatry area at SÄS, a transformation of care is underway to better meet the needs of our residents.

About our open position

You will work in a team consisting of doctors, nurses, psychologists, social workers, and secretaries. As a nurse, you will collaborate closely with the clinic's chief physician, assist with medication follow-ups, and be responsible for prescription management. You will participate in educational conversations independently or together with other therapists, and engage in collaboration with partner organizations.

There are three general psychiatric Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (BUP) clinics within SÄS: in Skene, Borås, and Alingsås. We have close cooperation to offer good evidence-based care without waiting lists, and a developing and good working environment for our staff. This may, for example, mean that certain care offerings are provided jointly in digital form, group activities, or specialized treatment. We actively work on improving our flows and developing stepped care. We adhere to given medical guidelines but are not afraid to think new thoughts. There is also ongoing development of child and adolescent psychiatry in the region, and we are part of that.

Your profile

We are looking for you who have a Swedish nursing license and experience in the profession. Meritorious for the position is if you have experience from child and adolescent psychiatric work and/or further education in psychiatry. You have an interest in meeting children, adolescents, and their families together with colleagues from both somatic and psychiatric care. We place great importance on personal suitability; it is important that you have good cooperation skills.
