Welcome to Healthcare Pharmacy VGR SV

Healthcare Pharmacy VGR SV is part of the regional joint Healthcare Pharmacy VGR and is the unit within Hospitals in the West responsible for the administration's consolidated pharmaceutical work. The unit's mandate includes responsibility for pharmaceutical supply, support in pharmaceutical management issues, follow-up, as well as quality and patient safety work, all in close collaboration with the operations. The unit's mandate also includes supporting care closer to the patients on the wards and handling parts of the daily pharmaceutical work there.

Healthcare Pharmacy VGR SV is organizationally part of the Diagnostics and Service operation, together with units for radiology and medical technology.

The Healthcare Pharmacy within Hospitals in the West works for all four hospitals within the administration but has an operational mandate with staff on-site at Kungälv Hospital, Alingsås Hospital, and Högsbo Community Hospital. The staff consists of pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and nurses.

We are currently in need of a pharmacy technician as a substitute during parental leave to be able to carry out our mandate in accordance with the care needs. The position is located at both Kungälv Hospital and Högsbo Community Hospital. It may eventually become relevant to work at other hospitals within the administration as well.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are a licensed pharmacy technician.

As a person, you are open and service-oriented, and you find it easy to make new contacts and build good relationships. You are accustomed to and enjoy working independently, while also having a good ability to collaborate. You are responsible, meticulous, and good at organizing and structuring your own work. Since we are an operation in constant development, it is important that you appreciate that tasks and ways of working vary and change over time.

Experience of working within healthcare and hospital pharmacy operations is meritorious. The work requires good IT skills.

We offer you

With us, you perform important work where you support the care units in various ways, primarily related to pharmaceutical supply. Examples of tasks include ordering and unpacking medicines and packing fluid carts. Other medication-related tasks may also occur.

At our unit, we have chosen the values engagement – trust – community as our guiding star in our work.

Work at all hospitals within the administration may become relevant, even if the main placement is initially at Kungälv Hospital and Högsbo Community Hospital. Currently, we only work daytime, weekdays. Weekend shifts and evening work may, however, become relevant in the future.

Qualifications

Licensed pharmacy technician.
