Do you want to work closely with children and young people in a team where the bodily perspective is built into the model – not an add-on? We are now looking for a physiotherapist for UPH (Young People's Mental Health) on a parental leave replacement.

ABOUT THE POSITION

As a physiotherapist with us, you work with children and young people with mental health issues at the primary care level – without referral. You contribute a clear bodily and behavior-focused perspective where physical activity, recovery, and daily structure are central parts of the treatment.

The work takes place at the clinic, digitally when needed, and in the patient's immediate environment, such as school, when necessary.

YOUR ASSIGNMENT

You work according to our structured basic treatment where assessment always precedes intervention. In practice, this means:

• Assessment and treatment related to physical activity, stress, and recovery
• Physical Activity on Prescription (FaR), gradual activity ramp-up, sleep, and recovery strategies
• Body awareness and relaxation – individually and in groups
• Team rounds and joint treatment planning
• Group interventions and psychoeducation
• Collaboration with school health services, primary care centers, and other actors

Your interventions are directly linked to the assessment findings:

• Low physical activity → FaR and joy of movement
• Stress or sleep difficulties → relaxation and circadian rhythm structure
• Low endurance → gradual increase in activity
• Lack of recovery → activity diary and balance planning

HOW WE WORK

The team has been established since 2024 and consists of psychologists with a CBT focus, psychotherapists, occupational therapists, and CBT therapists. The treatment is based on the LEON principle and a structured assessment of sleep, diet, activity, relationships, and school.

We work in parallel based on assessment – not in turn. Each profession has a clear mandate. You step into a role that is well-defined and in high demand.

• Are a licensed physiotherapist
• Have an interest in children and young people, mental health, and behavioral change
• Are structured, confident in your profession, and thrive in a team

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with FaR (Physical Activity on Prescription)
• Experience working in primary care or school health services
• CBT-focused approach
