About Us

Do you want to help develop Närhälsan Opaltorget Health Centre? We are looking for another driven employee who is interested in a varied assignment. Here you will work in beautiful, new premises with pleasant colleagues and a medical staff with a broad background and of different ages. Närhälsan Opaltorget Health Centre is located in western Gothenburg, and we have 7,500 registered patients who reflect the demographics, socioeconomics, and age of the area. We are also responsible for care and nursing homes for the elderly and younger people with functional support needs, home healthcare, and Child Health Services (BHV). We continuously work to develop the operations with a focus on medical quality, accessibility, and continuity. We also work more focused on different medical areas, which gives an opportunity to develop in the role, for example, within asthma/COPD and elderly care.

About the Job

Your tasks at the health centre span a broad field and include general medical competence with patients of all ages and situations. You will work with reception duties and digital healthcare meetings in primary care.

You and your colleagues form a team with the opportunity to develop the operations. We achieve success together in an stimulating learning environment with open doors and a welcoming climate. The role also includes supervising ST (Specialist Training) and AT (Internship) doctors as well as medical students; it is an important part of our mission to educate tomorrow's healthcare personnel. We offer you varied work with good development opportunities, for example, through continuous further education of ten days per year.

About You

You are a licensed physician and have specialist training in the field of general medicine with eligibility to work within Swedish healthcare. Knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing at a minimum level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale is a requirement for the position.

We are looking for you who can work independently but still want to participate in the development of the operations. In your work, you meet many different patients, so it is important that you are sensitive and have a good approach. You thrive in teamwork, and for you, it is a matter of course to collaborate with colleagues and other partners in the work.
