Job Responsibilities

We are looking for you who want to work as a temporary staff member within the Department of Care and Elderly Care. You will have the opportunity for exciting work with variety at one of our units. As a temporary staff member, you will have the chance for varied work where you can work when it suits you and the operations.

Within the department, we actively work for everyone's working environment and create conditions for you to feel joy and satisfaction in your work every day. If you join us, we also offer you a calm and secure introduction. We also offer a fitness allowance to those who have worked a certain number of hours.

This announcement includes the following areas:

  • Care and elderly housing
  • Home care services
  • Night patrol
  • Housing under the LSS Act (Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments)
  • Short-term operations for children and young people
  • Daytime activities
  • Social psychiatry
  • Short-term units
  • Personal assistance

The work involves providing support, service, care, and assistance together with other staff. The interventions are individually planned, meaning the care recipient's individual needs and conditions are at the center. It may also involve helping with daily life and various social activities. The work requires good interpersonal skills, teamwork ability, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

To work as a temporary staff member with us, you need:

  • A valid extract from the Swedish Police Authority's register of convictions for "work with the elderly and persons with disabilities"
  • Ability to understand, speak, read, and write in Swedish
  • Basic digital computer skills
  • Be at least 18 years old

It is an advantage if you have studied the Care and Nursing Program or other education deemed equivalent. Experience from care and support work is also considered an advantage. Having a driver's license is also an advantage. Note that education, experience, and a driver's license are requirements in some operations.

Personally, you show respect and consideration for those you meet in your professional role and adapt your communication according to the recipient, target group, and situation. You listen to other people to understand their needs and have the ability to work together with others to perform tasks and achieve goals. Finally, you take responsibility for your and joint tasks with the users' best interests in focus.
