The Department of Social Care is seeking a Nursing Assistant for Hedegården Specialized Residential Care Facility. This is a permanent position starting September 1st. The working hours are scheduled for night shifts with a workload of 75 %.

Job Responsibilities

Hedegården consists of six residential units, two focusing on somatic care and four dedicated to residents with dementia. During the night shift, you will be responsible for all six units as part of a team of four staff members. Your duties include providing care tailored to each resident's individual needs, as well as health and medical tasks according to instructions or delegation from occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and nurses.

Qualifications

A Nursing Assistant program with advanced courses in "Care for Dementia Patients" and "Elderly Health and Quality of Life", or equivalent education assessed by the employer. Knowledge and experience with BPSD (Behavioral and Psychological Symptoms of Dementia) are required. Passing grades in Swedish 1 and Social Studies at the upper secondary level are mandatory. We place great emphasis on teamwork skills, prior healthcare experience, and personal suitability. Basic computer literacy is advantageous as documentation is handled in the Treserva system.

Conditions

Monthly salary and other employment benefits according to the applicable collective agreement. Tanum Municipality strives for a smoke-free workplace and would prefer that you are non-smoking.
