About the Job
Your tasks involve assessing and treating patients of all ages. Common conditions among the patients you meet as an occupational therapist include: reduced hand function, pain, neurological issues, cognitive impairment, and mental health challenges. The work also includes prescribing assistive devices and certificates for housing adaptations. Together with the patient, a personal rehabilitation plan is created.
The work is carried out at the clinic, digitally, and via home visits. Patient treatment takes place both individually and in groups.
The work involves close collaboration with other professions, both at our own clinic and with other collaborating partners. You and your colleagues, together with the manager, are responsible for the development of the operations in a continuous improvement process.
About You
You are a licensed occupational therapist. Previous experience in the profession and primary care is meritorious, but we also welcome recent graduates. If you have supervision training and/or further/advanced education, this is also considered an advantage.
We are looking for someone who is perceptive, has good communication skills, and can identify the unique needs of individuals as you meet many different people. Furthermore, you see collaboration with colleagues and other partners as a natural and important part of the work, which you perform with engagement and professionalism. You can plan your work in an efficient and organized manner based on the organization's goals. Since the workload varies and unforeseen events may occur, we see that you are flexible and independent.
You place great importance on good customer service and always strive to treat customers, patients, and colleagues with respect and care. We also expect you to live up to Närhälsan's core values: Reliable, Considerate, and Innovative.

About the Recruitment Process
Selection takes place in two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department, who invite candidates to a telephone interview. The hiring manager then makes a second selection of applicants and invites them for an interview at the clinic.
We use competency-based interviews, which means that answers to questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe concrete situations as much as possible and try to avoid generalized answers – this is so we can understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the result was.
