Do you want to work in a small municipality with big opportunities?
We warmly welcome you to Munkedal Municipality!
Munkedal is located in northern Bohuslän, between Oslo and Gothenburg. Here, forests, rivers, and the sea meet, and distances between people and results are short. At our municipality, you will work closely with both colleagues and operations, with the opportunity to influence and make a real difference in daily life. We build on what is already strong and develop what makes people want to live, work, and thrive here. Progress is created through collaboration between residents, businesses, associations, and the municipality. This means that as an employee, you will drive change together with others. We focus on people's well-being and strive to make Munkedal a place where people want to stay and recommend to others.
The Welfare Department's mission is to support individuals who, due to age, disability, financial difficulties, or family issues, need various forms of assistance. The department consists of three divisions: Care and Nursing, Support Services, and Individual and Family Care (IFO). The Care and Nursing division covers residential care for the elderly, home care services, and municipal primary healthcare. The Support Services division handles LSS (Support and Service for Persons with Special Needs) initiatives. The IFO division includes social services, employment units, social psychiatry, and assistance processing.
