Healthcare and Care – Nursing Assistant for Specialized Housing in Gullspång
Gullspång Municipality offers all the advantages of a small town, with close-knit communities and short decision-making paths. Job Responsibilities
We are looking for nursing assistants to be placed at our specialized housing facilities at Amnegården in Gullspång. Your duties will include meeting the individual's needs for care and service in their home. You will perform medical interventions on delegation from a registered nurse. As an employee, you will collaborate with residents, colleagues, nurses, and management.
Qualifications
We are seeking trained nursing assistants. A vocational higher education (YH) qualification in dementia care and/or welfare technology is advantageous, as is a strong interest in working with development and change. Great emphasis is placed on flexibility and teamwork skills, as the work takes place across several wards (Fågelön, Fällholmen, and Storön). Employees must be able to adapt to different work groups and contribute to good cooperation between the wards.
As of July 1st this year, a language requirement for staff in elderly care comes into effect. The requirement is that staff must have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing to provide safe and good care. Additionally, good computer skills are required. It is important that applicants have a positive view of humanity, a high level of engagement, a sense of responsibility, and prioritize the individual needs of the elderly. We are looking for you who believe in the equal value and rights of all people.
Experience with the documentation tool Lifecare is considered an advantage.

Employment Terms
- Salary: Monthly salary.
- Employment Type: Permanent position.
- Duration: Permanent, start date: As soon as possible or by agreement.
- Working Hours: Roster-based. Working hours are scheduled for day and evening shifts on a rolling 5-week schedule. Both positions involve working 2 out of 5 weekends, with many working days on weekdays.
