The Workplace

The Social Services Administration in Karlsborg is responsible for elderly care, care for people with disabilities, municipal healthcare, and individual and family care. The administration has approximately 250 employees. We offer varied and meaningful work with freedom under responsibility.

The home care service meets the needs for daily support among users who, due to age, illness, or disability, find it difficult to manage daily tasks at home on their own. Within home care, we have approximately 40 employees divided into different teams that primarily work based on the various geographical areas in the municipality. We all operate out of the Haganäset nursing home. We are now looking for three assistant nurses or care assistants for care interventions in home care.

The positions are full-time, which means that resource shifts may occur in your schedule that can be booked at your own or other units depending on needs.

Your Responsibilities

Every day, we help make life work for people who need assistance; people who, for various reasons, need care, encouragement, and support. We help users feel safe, provide support to relatives, and help daily life come together.

We work from a rehabilitative approach with the individual at the center, where good treatment and respect for people's self-determination are our core values. It is important that you are understanding, attentive, and have a professional attitude.

You are good at making contact, building relationships, and encouraging and supporting the individual. It is varied work where you need to be flexible based on the user's need for support with service, personal care, and healthcare interventions.

The duties include IT-based documentation and administration.

The current employment includes day, evening, and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are trained as an assistant nurse or care assistant, preferably with experience. You are expected to be able to work both independently and together with others. Since communication and documentation are important tools in the work, you need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

We document in Viva and use phones as a work tool, so it is important that you have computer literacy or are interested in learning this.

We are now looking for colleagues who want to contribute to a good and safe working environment, with a focus on the mission to offer good and safe care and support where we start from the individual's needs and wishes.

A driver's license is a requirement for the position.
