Workplace Description
Abrahamsbergskolan, built in 1946, is a municipal F-9 school (grades 1–9) in Bromma with approximately 600 students. We who work at the school want to create the best study environment possible to provide a solid knowledge foundation for students as they move on to upper secondary school. Thanks to experienced and well-educated teachers, motivated students, and guardians with high expectations, Abrahamsbergskolan is a school with high academic results and a place where you enjoy being. Our vision is to be one of Stockholm's best schools in developing our students based on their individual prerequisites. The school's motto is Safety and Knowledge. Without safety, it is difficult to acquire knowledge, and knowledge provides safety.
Our school will undergo renovation during the academic years 2026/2027 and 2027/2028. During this time, we will conduct our operations at S:t Jacobis Gymnasium in Vällingby.
Job Description
We are looking for you who are educated and certified as a teacher in both English and Home and Consumer Studies for grades 7–9. The position is 100% and distributed approximately 65% English and 35% Home and Consumer Studies. Mentorship at the lower secondary level is included in the position.
You should demonstrate good leadership qualities and have a good ability to communicate and build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians.
You are interested in developing your own profession and driving development.
