Nya Skolan Comprehensive Schools (Grades F-9)

Description

Nya Skolan Lilla Edet is a small comprehensive school (Grades F-9) with a dedicated and competent teaching staff in both the school and the after-school care program. Teaching at Nya Skolan Lilla Edet is carried out in close collaboration with the principal, the student health team, and other colleagues within the work team.

We are now looking for you who are a certified comprehensive school teacher for grades 2–3. Previous experience in the teaching profession is meritorious. The employment starts at the beginning of the school year in August 2026. Recruitment is ongoing.

Our Educators

Our educators work in work teams where they share joint responsibility for all students within the team. When students are at school, the educators are active in the operations. In the afternoons, teachers prepare, document, and plan the activities together in their work teams.

We see you as an open person who is calm and confident in yourself, where collaboration is seen as a matter of course. You are creative, proactive, and independent, and have a positive attitude towards the development of the operations and the pedagogical environment. You should have insight into the school's governing documents and the laws that regulate school operations, as well as experience in pedagogical documentation.

In our teaching, we use ICT tools such as Smartboards and iPads, and we communicate with guardians via the learning platform InfoMentor.

Nya Skolan works with age-integrated classes. The division is flexible and is adapted to pedagogical needs as well as the children's interests and maturity. Together, we create an atmosphere where knowledge is fun and learning is an exciting adventure!

Holistic View

Pedagogically, we work with wholes. We teach children to see connections and to develop conscious and reflective thinking. We work cross-curricularly in projects and gladly find new, creative ways to stimulate students' search for knowledge. It is about taking advantage of children's natural drive – curiosity – in all situations.

Students and teachers set common goals for what the student should do each week. The starting point is that the student is involved in their own learning.

Nya Skolan Sverige AB currently consists of four preschools and three comprehensive schools located in Trollhättan and Lilla Edet municipalities.
