Vårdcentralen Tullholmen is now looking for a Counselor!
Your workplace
Here, you will become part of an organization with dedicated employees and a strong focus on collaboration, quality, and development. We have a good working climate, close cooperation between professions, and a great commitment to our patients.
The role also includes the opportunity to work digitally via Visiba Care as well as with online CBT treatment. Part of the position may also involve working within our digital primary care center, Vård i Värmland.
Work with mental health issues in primary care covers a broad spectrum of patients and needs. As a counselor, you will meet adult patients (from 18 years old) and be responsible for psychosocial care.
Your responsibilities
The role includes, among other things, CBT treatment, crisis processing, and assessments.
You support patients in developing their own ability to manage their situation by increasing awareness of their own resources and opportunities. The work also involves collaborating with both internal and external actors regarding patients with complex psychosocial issues, including mental health problems, psychiatric conditions, as well as substance abuse and addiction.
Your skills and competencies
We are looking for you who have a degree in social work or are a licensed health and social care counselor, with further education in CBT.
We place great emphasis on your personal qualities. You are confident in your professional role and have a professional and empathetic approach. You easily create trusting relationships – both with patients, colleagues, and partners. The work requires flexibility, independence, and the ability to think creatively when meeting different needs and situations. You take responsibility for your tasks by planning, structuring, and prioritizing your work effectively.
Experience from working in primary care is meritorious. Experience with Visiba Care or other digital healthcare is also meritorious.
