About the position

Personal assistance is a service under the LSS Act (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Functionally Impaired Persons). In your role as a personal assistant, you will primarily help the customer with everything that arises in daily life as well as with basic needs. Your work involves safeguarding the customer's self-determination and integrity, and contributing to a smooth daily routine. Each assistance assignment is uniquely adapted to the customer's life, so tasks may vary depending on the workplace.

The customer is a 25-year-old woman living in Grums. She has extensive care needs and requires help with all aspects of daily life. In her spare time, she enjoys bathing, going on outings, and taking walks.

Who are you?

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is sensitive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you as the assistant and the customer.

Requirements for the position:

• Previous experience in personal assistance or another care profession.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Tolerance for pets, as there is a dog in the home.
• Non-smoker during working hours.

Merits for the position:

• Previous experience with epilepsy.
• Previous experience with tube feeding.

Personal suitability will be given great weight.

Working hours, employment degree, and salary

The current form of employment is "for as long as the assistance assignment lasts" with an employment degree of approximately 60%. Working hours are scheduled for day, evening, and night. During the night, there are 4 hours of on-call time.

Fixed hourly wage by agreement, and other benefits are paid according to the collective agreement.

Start date: Immediately or by agreement.
