We are now looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant for a younger man in Arvika.

What does this position involve?

Here you will have the opportunity to contribute together with others to create a functional everyday life for our client. We are looking for someone who can work on an hourly basis when needed (due to sick leave and holidays), as well as potentially a weekend rotation.

The work includes standard assistant duties, such as support with personal care, household chores, and activities like walks, visits to friends and acquaintances, and other activities outside the home. The man uses a wheelchair and needs assistance with transfers using a ceiling hoist, hygiene tasks, physical support, and household chores such as cooking, laundry, and cleaning.

We are looking for you who are engaged, respectful, and attentive. We appreciate that you have great patience and the ability to be personal while acting professionally.

We would like you to:

• Understand and communicate clearly in Swedish.
• Have a genuine interest in helping others.
• Be able to work flexible hours – day, evening, and weekends, including potentially being awake at night.
• Have experience in care and social services (this is a plus, but not a requirement).
• Have experience working as a personal assistant.
• Have an interest in cooking and enjoy preparing meals.
• Hold a valid driver's license.

Additional Information

Employment Type: Casual/On-call employment

Scope: As needed, potentially a short rotation every other weekend.

Working Hours: 07:00–15:30, 15:00–22:00, and awake night shift 21:30–07:30.

Start Date: According to agreement.

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must be able to prove that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit. Employment can only take place after verification of the work permit, as required by the Aliens Ordinance.
