Job Description

We are looking for an engaged and responsible personal assistant for a 68-year-old woman living in Hammarö, for a temporary position at 80% during the period 1/9 - 15/5, with possible extension.

The position involves providing support and help in everyday life with a focus on security, participation, and quality of life. The user controls their own daily life, and you are there as support where needed. As a personal assistant, you are an important support in creating structure and facilitating everyday life.

The work involves providing support based on the user's individual needs. Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Personal care and hygiene
• Light household chores and cooking
• Participation in various activities

You work closely with the user and contribute with support measures that are health-promoting, motivating, and strengthen independence. The role also includes collaborating with relatives and any healthcare contacts.

Employment type: Fixed-term employment, temporary position 1/9 - 15/5 with possible extension.
Hours: 80%
Working hours: Sunday - Thursday 08:00 - 17:00 and Friday - Saturday 08:00 - 19:00.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• Are secure, responsible, and have a good ability to build trust
• Have an approach characterized by respect, empathy, and sensitivity
• Are flexible and patient
• Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, for communication and documentation

It is meritorious if you:

• Have experience working in healthcare/care or as a personal assistant
• Have nursing assistant education
• Have experience working with people with communication difficulties
