Here, you will work to contribute to safety, support, and hope for the future for children, young people, and their families. The East Investigation Unit is looking for a new colleague – here, both investigative social secretaries and social secretaries focus on following up on interventions.

We belong to the Family Department of the Employment and Social Administration and are one of two investigation units. Our mission is to assess the need for support and protection for children and young people in vulnerable life situations – always with the best interests of the child in focus.

About the role

As an investigative social secretary, you work to investigate the needs of children and parents according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Law on Care of Young Persons (LVU). You meet with children, parents, and their networks, collaborate with other professions, and document your assessments in a legally secure and structured manner.

As an intervention case manager, you focus on following up on approved interventions for children and young people. This can involve outpatient care, foster care placements, or residential care (HVB). In both roles, travel is required, sometimes for longer periods, together with co-case managers.

The work is varied and requires that you can prioritize, reschedule, and take responsibility for your cases. At the same time, you are never alone – here, colleagues, case supervisors, and managers are always close by for support, dialogue, and joint assessments.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have a degree in social work. Experience in authority exercise within the social services' child and youth care (0–18 years) is meritorious.
