Sunne Municipality is now looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant. You will be part of a secure and committed team around a customer with extensive support needs. The work takes place in a fixed work team where you work based on clear routines and a common approach. The work is characterized by close cooperation, continuity, and a structured working method where the customer's needs are in focus. You will become part of a team where the goal is to create a safe and stable everyday life for the customer through shared vision, clarity, and a unified working method.

Responsibilities

We work in work teams based on the customer's implementation plan and support the customer in their daily life based on individual needs. The work involves creating structure and predictability as well as adapting activities and interaction to the customer's daily condition and needs. You will work with clarifying pedagogy and alternative communication methods and play an important role in preventing and handling situations where the customer may become stressed. The work requires a professional interaction and a good ability to adapt to different situations. In the work, it is important to be able to work based on common routines and approaches, where structure and consistency are crucial for the customer's security. You will be part of a work team where high demands are placed on cooperation, responsibility, and stability in the work. You are an attentive, calm, and warm person with empathy and a sense of care, as well as an understanding of the customer's life situation.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are responsible, stable, and have a genuine interest in working with people in need of support. Relevant upper secondary education, such as the care and nursing program, or other education that the employer deems equivalent is meritorious. Experience of working with personal assistance or working with people with disabilities is meritorious. Experience of working with autism or other neuropsychiatric disabilities is seen as particularly meritorious. Knowledge of alternative and augmentative communication, such as PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System), as well as knowledge of clarifying pedagogy and low-affective interaction is meritorious.

You have a professional interaction, are attentive, and perform your task with the customer in focus. You must master the Swedish language in speech and writing and have good computer skills. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

A valid B driver's license for manual transmission is a requirement.

Conditions

The position is full-time (100%) and involves day, evening, and weekend work as well as night duty with sleeping on-call.

Employment is according to the current collective agreement.
