Personal Assistant Needed for Active Woman with MS in Kristinehamn

I am a 66-year-old woman running my own personal assistance service in Kristinehamn. Since I have MS and am wheelchair-bound, I need help with practical aspects of daily life.

What do I need help with?

I need assistance with transfers, dressing and undressing, personal hygiene, toilet visits, brushing teeth, cooking, dishwashing, and laundry. I enjoy eating with assistance and participating in various activities. I strive to live as normal a life as possible.

I train both at home and at the gym several times a week and need help during these sessions. It is therefore an advantage if you exercise yourself and know how to proceed safely.

About You

You are a female applicant who is positive, flexible, caring, and preferably strong. I am not large or heavy, but I want to lead an active life, both at home and out and about.

Requirements and preferences:

• Valid Category B driver's license (required).
• Non-smoker (this is an advantage as no one in the household smokes).
• Living in Kristinehamn Municipality is an advantage.
• References in your application.
• Extract from the police record if considered for the position.

Employment Terms

Duration: Probationary employment with the possibility of permanent position.

Working Hours: Scope and schedule to be agreed upon. Scheduled working hours.

Salary: Hourly wage. You and I will agree on the hourly rate directly as I do not have a collective agreement. However, I have reviewed the regulations and adhere to current working time rules regarding daily rest, weekly rest, and overtime limits.

The workload is shared among several assistants. The schedule ensures that assistants rotate weekly between day, evening, and weekend shifts.
