About the Job

We are looking for a Coordinator for Katrinebergsbacken's Treatment Home and Supported Housing. Our target group consists of men and women aged 21 and above with harmful substance use, addiction, and mental health issues.

ABOUT US

Our work focuses primarily on treating harmful substance use and addiction, as well as social support measures recommended by the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen). Employment and stable housing are often central factors for achieving success in treatment and maintaining sobriety or abstinence. We work to build networks and new positive contexts for the individual, such as internships, employment, and leisure interests, which can remain after the individual moves on from us.

Using the Case Management methodology, we help coordinate with other agencies, such as psychiatry, the Swedish Public Employment Service (Arbetsförmedlingen), or healthcare, to gain a holistic view of the individual.

In our operations, we also use various methods to achieve a holistic approach, adapted to where the individual is in their journey, and we offer further training based on needs. We believe that the foundation for all development is creating trusting relationships and allowing these relationships to develop over time.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Coordinator, you are involved in daily operations, which includes helping to maintain a functioning daily rhythm with sleep and daytime activities, exercise, and other engagements. The role involves offering residents fixed structures, routines, predictability, and relationships with credible adults. Additionally, you conduct individual conversations with clients, leading the overall planning and coordination regarding the individual based on their current situation. This may involve coordinating contacts within the individual's network, searching for housing or work, and acting as a driving force to move the process forward. In short, it is about providing the right support at the right time.

This means you support clients in carrying out daily routines, monitor their well-being, and address the challenges they face. You need experience with documentation and the ability to write reports, which is an important part of the role. It is also an advantage if you are socially aware and know where to turn for different issues, as there is extensive collaboration both internally and externally.

Our housing facility has 10 places, allowing time and space to provide comprehensive support and work in a process-oriented manner. Working hours can be adjusted to some extent, but you may occasionally work evenings or have on-call nights, and we also work every third weekend.

QUALIFICATIONS

You must have the ability to collaborate, build alliances, form relationships, and work goal-oriented, while adhering to existing structures. You share your knowledge and experiences with your colleagues and see it as a given to contribute to a positive work climate.

Education is a requirement for us. You must have at least a two-year post-secondary education, such as as a treatment assistant/treatment pedagogue, social pedagogue, social worker, or behavioral scientist. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. As we are an organization working with people in vulnerable situations, you will need to provide extracts from the criminal record and suspicion registers before any potential employment.

A driver's license is required.
