Lundsbergs School, located in Storfors Municipality in Värmland, is one of Sweden's most prestigious boarding schools with over 100 years of history. Here, 250 students from grade 9 to upper secondary school study, and together with our approximately 100 dedicated employees, we create an environment where education and personal development go hand in hand. The school is run as a foundation and is characterized by a strong community and a long tradition of high well-being and quality.
We are now looking for a Boarding House Manager for our school – a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people.
Your Role
As Boarding House Manager at Lundsbergs School, you are a central part of the school's daily operations and the long-term development of the boarding house. You have an important responsibility for creating a safe and inclusive environment where students feel seen, respected, and given the best conditions to develop in a stimulating learning environment. Your adult leadership, your ability to be a role model, and your engagement will be crucial in strengthening the values we work towards.
- Build a safe, engaging, and study-friendly environment where students thrive and develop.
- Work actively with the school's values to shape a culture characterized by respect, equality, and responsibility.
- Promote a boarding culture where all students have a place and feel a sense of belonging, regardless of background or age.
- Maintain close contact with students, guardians, teachers, and the student health team.
- Plan and organize activities that strengthen safety and values in the boarding house.
- Be responsible for the boarding house's budget, routines, and documentation.

Are you the one we are looking for?
We are looking for you who have experience working with young people – professionally or voluntarily – and who are confident in a leadership role. You are a clear, warm, and present adult that students can trust.
We see that you have:
- Leadership experience and habit of taking responsibility.
- Ability to communicate clearly and pedagogically – you master Swedish and English in speech and writing.
- Interest in young people's leisure interests and a desire to be involved in their development.
- Structured and good administrative skills.
- Valid driver's license (Category B).
It is meritorious if you have an academic education in pedagogy, social work, behavioral science, or equivalent, as well as experience leading change processes.

Terms of Employment
- Permanent position at 100% with a six-month probation period.
- Start date according to agreement.

- Salary according to agreement, collective agreement applies.
