We are now looking for personal assistants for one of our youngest clients in Karlstad, starting in week 34 with training beforehand.

Who am I?

I am a 3-year-old boy living with my mom, dad, and our allergy-friendly dog in the eastern part of Karlstad.

My functional variation means I need help with most things. This includes transfers, feeding via tube, as well as stretching/exercise. Some of the assistive devices I use are a standing frame, a corset, and a PEP-mask.

I am curious and constantly discovering new things. Music, singing, and outdoor activities are some of my current interests.

What a day with me might look like:

From Monday to Thursday, I am at preschool together with my assistant. The work shift starts at 07:00 in the morning, and we get ready to go there together. There, play, learning, rest, and exercise fill our days.

If the work shift is on Fridays, the day is more open for activities such as visiting a playground to swing, taking a long walk, or doing something else I find fun!

Who are you?

For this position, we are looking for you who are a warm, secure, and responsible person with a childlike spirit. You are welcome to have previous experience working with children, and experience with epilepsy is a plus.

Otherwise, you are a positive and flexible person.

It is important that you have a good command of the Swedish language, as you will be a support in communication with others.

About the position:

Working hours are scheduled Monday–Thursday from 07:00–17:00 and on Fridays from 09:00–16:00. Evening and weekend work may become relevant in the future.

The position is 100–75%.

During the interview, you need to show an extract from the criminal record register as well as documentation proving your right to work in Sweden (passport, national ID, or personal ID with driver's license).

If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, a work permit or permanent residence permit is required.
