Description

We are now looking for you who want to work with investigating, assessing, and following up on needs and interventions based on the Support and Service Act for Certain Disability Groups (LSS) as well as certain interventions according to the Social Services Act (SoL), such as supported housing and respite care at home.

The LSS unit is divided into two teams, both of which work with children and adults with physical, intellectual, or mental disabilities who need interventions according to LSS/SoL. The unit consists of 16 caseworkers, case supervisors, and the LSS manager.

We write our investigations according to the National Board of Health and Welfare's IBIC model and have a database system adapted for this purpose.

Responsibilities

The role of LSS caseworker involves ensuring equal and legally secure case processing with a focus on the individual's influence and participation. Collaboration and cooperation occur cross-professionally at the individual, group, and organizational levels to ensure the individual's needs are met.

The work involves many contacts with care recipients, their relatives, and representatives/guardians, as well as cooperation with service providers and other partners, both internal and external. Together with your colleagues at the unit, you work towards a good working climate and to ensure legal security.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a degree from the social work program or equivalent education assessed as equivalent by the employer. You have knowledge of relevant legislation in the area as well as case processing and documentation. To handle the assignment, you must have the ability to gather information, compile, analyze, and evaluate different courses of action to make assessments that lead to well-founded decisions.

As a person, it is important that you are confident, positive, engaged, enjoy influencing and participating, and have a professional attitude. We also see that you are someone who finds it easy to collaborate with other people. You have good communication skills and find it easy to express yourself in speech and writing. Personal suitability is given great weight.

Experience of authority exercise within LSS/SoL as well as experience with IBIC is meritorious.
