Personal assistance is a support measure under the LSS Act (The Support and Service Act for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to people who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Every client is unique, and your tasks will vary depending on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and integrity, and contribute to making daily life run smoothly.

About the role

The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is sensitive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done.

The client is a 70-year-old man living in his own apartment in Munkfors. He enjoys animals and finding activities, so we would appreciate it if you share his interest in being active and if you thrive in environments with animals. The client uses a wheelchair, and lifting/transferring is part of the job.

We are now looking for you who meet the following criteria:

• Want to work for a man in his 70s residing in Munkfors
• Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Have previous experience working as a personal assistant or in a similar care profession
• Tolerate fur animals
• Are non-smoking during working hours
• Have good physical fitness and can perform lifting/transferring

It is also meritorious if you:

• Have previous experience with lifting aids
• Share the client's interests

Personal suitability will be given great weight.

Working hours, employment degree, and salary:

We are currently looking for two personal assistants for two positions:

For one position, the current form of employment is "for as long as the assistance assignment lasts" with an employment degree of approximately 75%. The working hours are scheduled during daytime.

We are also looking for a personal assistant for a temporary position starting immediately and lasting until 2026-09-01. The employment degree is approx. 92%. The working hours are scheduled during daytime, evenings, and nights.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement, and other benefits are paid according to the collective agreement.

Start date: Immediately or according to agreement.
