Your responsibilities

We are looking for a teacher with subject qualification in French and English. The position includes mentorship and close collaboration with other teachers.

As a teacher at Klaraskolan, it is important that you are a confident and clear leader with good pedagogical skills. You are skilled at adapting teaching to the students' needs. In your teaching, you work from a relational perspective, use collaborative structures for student-active learning, and have a formative approach. You have high expectations for the students and motivate them to learn and develop by clarifying goals and knowledge requirements. It is of great importance that you meet all students with a positive attitude, promote their participation and influence, and are flexible and creative. You also value building relationships with students outside the classroom.

You collaborate easily with others and see the work team as an asset. Together with the team, you plan, implement, evaluate, and develop teaching based on the school's governing documents and local development plans. The role requires a good ability to analyze students' needs and use a well-adapted methodology. You are confident in documenting students' knowledge development and have good knowledge of our digital platforms (e.g., Unikum and Teams). You have a non-hierarchical approach and enjoy challenging others in a curious manner, as well as sharing your experiences.

Your qualifications

Legitimized teacher with subject qualification in French and English. Previous experience working at the lower secondary level (grades 7–9) is an advantage.

If offered employment within the Children and Youth Administration, you are required to present a certificate of no objections from the Police's criminal record register, as the work takes place in schools/preschools. The certificate is free of charge but may take approximately 2–3 weeks for the police to process, so please order it in good time!
