Helenelundsskolan is a preschool to grade 9 school located in Southern Sollentuna. The school has over 1,000 students and we have 120 employees. Helenelundsskolan's vision is: We develop the future, with the watchwords do good, feel good, develop! You land softly with us!

This is a temporary position at 80% from August until the autumn break in 2026.

Responsibilities

As a teacher in Swedish as a Second Language (SVA), you teach students in grades 4–6. You plan and conduct teaching in close collaboration with the subject group and the working team at the lower secondary level.

You contribute to language-developing approaches, monitor student progression, and create an inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a confident and engaged educator with clear leadership skills and the ability to create a conducive learning atmosphere. You work independently, take initiative, and adapt teaching to the students' needs.

You are relationship-building, structured, and well-acquainted with the school's governing documents. The role requires flexibility, creativity, and a solution-oriented approach. You thrive in a work team where collaboration and collegial learning are central.

Requirements

• Teacher certification for lower secondary school
• Qualification in Swedish as a Second Language

Merits

• Experience teaching SVA in grades 4–6
• Experience working with students with NPD (Neurodevelopmental Disorders) diagnoses
