At Duvboskolan, we lay the foundation for lifelong learning. Through high expectations, a strong value base, and shared responsibility, we create a school where all students have the opportunity to develop, feel safe, and be part of a meaningful context.
Our three keywords – knowledge, safety, and togetherness – permeate our entire operation.
Duvboskolan is a municipal F-6 school with approximately 370 students. The school has a calm and pleasant atmosphere with high satisfaction among students, guardians, and staff. The school's results are very good. Due to the school's relatively small size, we have good and close collaboration among colleagues.
We are now looking for a teacher for the leisure center (fritidshem).
As a leisure center teacher, you will be involved in the leisure center's activities on a specific division and be part of a work team. Your tasks include, among other things, planning, implementation, documentation, and evaluation of the activities. You are responsible for ensuring that the leisure center complements the school and offers our students a meaningful leisure time and support in their development.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a teaching qualification for leisure centers, or alternatively a leisure pedagogy degree/other pedagogical education that the employer finds equivalent.
- Has good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing.
Merits include:
- Knowledge of low-affective handling (low-arousal approach).
- Experience working with children and young people with neuropsychiatric disabilities (NPF).
- Have completed education within NPF.
You have the ability to create good relationships with students. You are a secure adult and a role model. You are engaged, flexible, patient, and have a solution-focused approach. You have good collaboration skills. You communicate and interact easily with students, colleagues, and guardians to achieve set goals.
We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
The position is a permanent full-time employment. Probation may apply.
Start date: August 10th or as agreed.
The position is subject to the condition that nothing changes within the operation.
Before employment, the employer will require you to show an extract from the police's suspicion and criminal record register.
Apply by June 9, 2026.
Interviews will be conducted continuously. We do not accept applications via email.
Welcome with your application!
Other information
A large part of our operation is classified as essential societal function.
