DUTIES

Are you our next colleague? We are looking for an educator for our fantastic night and weekend activity, Night Owl!

We are looking for you who want to help create a safe, caring, and developmental activity for children during evenings, nights, and weekends. At Night Owl's night and weekend activity, the child's safety and well-being are always at the center. The activity differs from traditional preschool as children's needs may vary depending on the time of day, which places demands on flexibility, responsibility, and a warm approach from the applicant.

As an educator, you participate together with other staff in planning, implementing, evaluating, and developing the activity based on the children's needs and conditions. The work involves creating a calm, safe, and stimulating environment where the children feel seen and cared for, regardless of the time of day.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are trained as an educator and have previous experience working with children aged 1-12 years in preschool, school, or other educational activities. If you have previously worked in night and weekend activities or in activities with inconvenient working hours, it is an advantage.

You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and have a good ability to communicate and build trusting relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues. You have a genuine commitment to your work and a secure and professional approach in meetings with children and families.

Since Night Owl operates during evenings, nights, and weekends, you need to be flexible and enjoy working with inconvenient working hours. The activity differs from a traditional preschool, which requires you to adapt to the varying needs of the children and the activity.

As a person, you are secure, responsible, and relationship-building. You easily create calm and security around you and contribute to good cooperation and a positive work environment. You have the ability to work both independently and together with others, and see the value in being part of a committed work team.
